Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the United States for more than 10 seasons. She was part and was captain for the US Olympic women's gymnastics team Final Five (2012) as well as the Final Five (2016). In 2012, she was awarded gold medals in team competitions along with the floor workouts. On the balance beam she earned a bronze. She was the only American to win the most Olympic medals. The gold medal she won in the Olympics in 2016 marked the second gold in a row for the US team. This made her, along with fellow teammate Gabby the first Americans - to achieve this achievement. The silver medals she won came from the floor individual and all-around event. After the second Olympics, she was off for three years from gymnastics. She also was part of gold-winning American teams in two World Championships. Her first experience with gymnastics began at age of two and her favorite sport is floor exercise. Aly donates towards the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity in honor of her departed grandmother. In the future, she plans to make a career out of fashion. It is also her dream to increase the length of her leotards and her socks. Fierce - a novel that she's currently writing, is due coming out in the year ahead.
